Had the chance to take a few pics of my 16m today, just couldn't keep the results to myself! What does everyone think? More to follow if this one goes down well!

Fantastic...both the pic & the car! It just looks so right in white with the tri-colore stripe IMO

Another snap ... more to follow in the next few days when I've played with them a little. Thanks for all the nice comments so far. We were lucky - a friend allowed us to borrow Ascari for the shoot ... what a wonderful track and setting. The car looked great and sounded amazing! CC8S asked about numbers - there are supposed to be no more than 5 white right hookers of the sub-50 uk cars (a few headed overseas straight away, so there are probably about 40 left on uk plates). Jay Kay's got a white one, and I've seen another ... and there's a lhd example in Marbella.

What made you choose the convertible and did you drive the coupe before you made your choice and if so, how did they differ? I remember a Clarkston peice claimed that there was no real performance difference between the F430 Coupe and Spider?

Several reasons really ... the main one is that it's a wonderful aural experience with the top down, and I love the whole convertible thing. The coupe is fantastic to drive too, very similar, but the noise delivery just doesn't compare when they're driven back to back. Also, there are so few uk 16M's, and only 499 worldwide, so that might help residuals a bit (or hopefully a lot!). I drive an RS6 every day, so I wanted the second car to be as exciting and interesting as possible - and being open to the elements makes it feel completely different. Both cars look great, and the interiors are perfect ... but there's something about the spider, especially in white, in the sunshine! I haven't driven the car in anger on the track, but I'm told they're very similar.

I have mine delivered from the USA mate. but i do know that they are available in the UK. Before i got a subscription i used to buy mine from an Airport. But i am sure some one will let you know were else you can get it from.
