Hi guys
Just love these cars.Looking into getting a car around the 70k mark
I also love working on my cars.Do any of you on here work on your
lambos.I dont like the thought of giving someone £2k + to fit a clutch
when i think im more than capable, not that i have any experience of these cars.
I am aware i dont get a dealers stamp in the service book if i do the work,
and that may/will effect the resale value.
Can you actually get oem parts across the counter to do the work yourself?
Sorry for this pic but hope it shows where im coming from.
thanks for any help Dave.

That Vette is ace!

I personally wouldn't work on it myself, I prefer to have the stamp, and reassurance that its been done properly.

YEAH.
I need to sell something cos of money and space.
The vipers worth more, and could get another ,but if the vette goes
it would cost me a fortune and a lot of time to buy another and do
all that work again. You may have just helped me out mate.
god i love this place.

I work on mine, but I am in the minority. Haven't done a clutch myself but if I could get hold of the manual (which is only online from the factory AFAIK) I would.

Caelum if you go onto the Lambo Power forum you can down load a copy of the Gallardo Workshop manual from one of the threads.

Which section on Lambo-power?
I have got the available manuals, but they mostly show screen dumps of the PC software and some very basic info (brake pads etc.) I have yet to find a manual that shows the sort of level of repair of even a Haynes manual let alone a proper workshop one.

Lambo power>Discussion Groups>Gallardo>GALLARDO WORKSHOP MANUAL is where I downloaded a copy from. It seemed to have everything in it when I had a quick flick through.
