Hi,
I'm looking at purchasing a Gallardo (first Lambo and boy I'm excited!!!!) and have approx 100K budget. From experience is the Superleggera worth the extra money because I can get a 2007 for that sort of money or a 'normal' Gallardo (same year) for 10K+ less?
Cheers,
A

I just got my superleggera a few weeks ago so I am biased but I think it is worth it! I had a 'standard' one before and appreciate the difference. However, the Superleggera might not appeal to you in the same way. If you can test drive both I would do so and make your own mind up.

Thanks for that, I suspect I'm going to fall for it as I did when I test drove a Noble M400 - didn't even bother testing the Sagaris I'd originally gone to look at What's 'better' about the Superleggera?

if you can find an untracked sl, then it's absolutely worth the extra

I have a standard/normal Gallardo, and REALLY want a SL but just can't justify double the money for what is 'the same car'. Or can I?! Keith I need to come see yours!

I had a cooking Gallardo for a year and couldnt accept that there would be such a difference between that and the SL, so bought a MY05 Murci and happily owned that for 2 years.....until a mate lent me his SL for a weekend in June!! Murci was gone in 2 weeks, 08 SL replaced it...no brainer. They really are rather good indeed
