I'm about to pull the trigger on a set of tires for the v8 vantage.

i'm either going to get the stock bridgestone re050As or put a set of michelin PS2s on it.

The problem is, the michelins do not come in 235/40/19 for the front wheels. The nearest size is 245/40/19. The rears will stay at 275/35/19.

I toyed with the 285/35/19 tires from the prodrive vantage, but those are 'specced' for 10" wide wheels not 9.5"

My only concern is that i'll be changing the ratio between the front and rear tires' diameter. I think the stock setup is slightly larger in the back.

Any thoughts?

hi the overall difference in the tyre diameter is only 8mm in total 671mm before and 679mm after, which is a percentage change of only 1.19 percent, the maximum diameter change should be plus or minus 2.5% so well within this tolerance, so I would not be concerned,

for reference the rear tyres are 675mm overall tyre diameter,

got the michelin ps2s on the vantage and so far so good. Compared to the bald and cracked 3 year old re050's, the PS2's are quiet, compliant, very predictable, and grippy.

They look awesome too!

Thanks for the help with the sizing Rick!

pictures to follow this evening.
