TeamPH Set For Second Season

Head down to Oulton Park this Easter Monday to support the PistonHeads Ginetta G20

If you are sitting in your living room slightly too indulged on Easter eggs and wondering what to do with your extra day of freedom from work, then PistonHeads has the answer.

This weekend sees the start of the British GT, F3 and Texaco Havoline Ginetta Championship at Oulton Park, where PistonHeads will be entering a G20 in the latter championship for the second year running.

TeamPH had a mixed season last year but managed to bag three podiums throughout the season, so this year we'll be looking to challenge for the title. The final licks of paint are being added to the PistonHeads trophy cabinet in anticipation for this season's racing, and to aid the pot hunting, TeamPH has enlisted the help of a top Ginetta racer, Matt Nicol-Jones.

Matt runs Academy Motorsport and is the current British GT4 Champion and 2007 G20 Champion, so he knows a thing or two about Ginetta racing. Matt will be on hand to prepare the TeamPH car and help PistonHeads' RacingPete improve on the 8^th place achieved last season and the 3^rd place in the Winter Championship.

So, if the TV repeats have got too much and you are missing your motorsport fix inbetween the F1 races and the touring cars, get out on Easter Monday and come and say 'hi' to TeamPH. It'll be good to have some support, and I am sure we can find a tea or coffee to help ease the chocolate digestion.
