Here there are few new details on the GT, suggesting it's nearing an official debut. The front grille and bumper look more production ready, clearly aping the AMG GT3. For this prototype the rear bumper and spoiler appear tweaked too. Beyond the camo it looks pretty much production ready in fact, right down to the front aero flics.
But what will it be called? Previous AMG form would suggest Black Series, but as a more aggressive GT S it could be a GT R. There's previous form with the CLK GTR after all.
What everyone really wants to know however is when this car will be launched. There are rumours around it being the first half of this year, which would tie in nicely with a Geneva show debut. Until then there's time to speculate on just how much power it could have, and just how good an AMG GT R against F-Type SVR test would be.
