Ok, so I am sure you will have read numerouse ads claiming enormous power gains for £100 or so............................................!

Well, let me make one statement. Like anything in this world, you get what you pay for. Forget those £25 plug in modules that fool the ECU into overfuelling and the likes....they will F**K up your car and that's a fact.

Remapping is a very complicated and in depth procedure that should be only carried out by qualified technicians. This unfortunatley costs money..........

Ok, lets get down to business. here is a very simple example of how remapping can transform your current car and put a massive smile on your face every time you get behind the wheel.......!

Last summer I bought a Golf Mk4 GT-TDI 115 for my wife.

Now, those of you in the know will understand that the GT-TDI is a great balance between performance and economy. GTI interior in a diesel car............. SPOT ON!

VW's Figures - 115 BHP with a 0-60mph time of approx 10.2 secs

I programmed in a stage 2 remapp combined with changing the std panel filter for a K&N item.............

The result was.....

150.1 BHP and a 0-60mph time of 7.75secs

Please look at the pics of the rolling road print out and also the sprint times that I did at Last years GTI International.

These times are quicker than a std 1.8Turbo GTi
petrol!!!!!!!!

NOT ONLY DO WE REMAP VIA THE OBD PORT BUT ON EARLIER CARS, 1999 AND BEFORE, WE CAN ALSO PERFORM CHIP TUNING. (I.E EARLY GOLF 1.8T, 20V NON TURBO, MK3 GOLFS TDI/GTI'S/ VR6 ETC) THIS INVOLVES REMOVAL OF THE CARS ECU, AND REPLACING/REPROGRAMMING THE CHIP THAT CONTAINS ALL OF THE PERFOMANCE DATA FOR YOUR CAR. THIS TAKES ABOUT 2 HOURS ON AVERAGE, BUT CAN VARY DEPENDING ON THE CAR
