| Very fast circuit in Wiltshire Based at an old airfield, Castle Combe is best suited to fast cars and confident drivers. The run off around the track is not great yet the track is particularly quick.
Take it easy and you'll not come to any harm but you'll need to wind the speed up to enjoy the track.

"A day at Castle combe with Adui International, fantastic event."3 on track sessions and only 10 cars on track at any one time meant we all had room to have a good play.

"Enjoy after breakfast!!"Fantastic in a TVR Tuscan. Even better on a Ducati.

"love it"Ilove the track. Just dont go to fast into quarry or you wont come back out.

"Simple, but fast"Combe provided my first ever track experience and i found it easy to learn the basics compared to some other circuits. Not the most thrilling layout but the speed keeps the thrills up.

"Fast, a bit bumpy, but sadly nothing special apart from quarry & tower" recommended reviewthere are few interesting corners with the more technical corners at "quarry & tower" providing more of a challenge and the odd cross wind ! but otherwise the run through folly is just too bumpy especially for 911's ! The rest of the circuit does not real...

"Fast track although the 'straight' is a bit bent!"I've driven on the circuit a couple of times (Corrado VR6 & Audi RS4), and absolutely love it. Not too keen on the 2nd chicane, and the straight could be well... straighter! Apart from that its a fun circuit with a good 'club' feel. Safety seems to have b...

"my local track, ace"having had tuition from locl drivers the circit has become second nature however when after faster cars you still have to keep your whits about you, especially on the first corner as you come over the bump.

"Fun circuit but not much run off !"Tends to keep you focused as there isnt much room if you make a mistake. However, this also means you rarely really push it either. Seen a fair few people in the barriers here at Quarry, Tower and Camp corners.

"Ohboyohboyohboy."Used to find this a bit uninteresting, until they put the chicanes in and gave one something to do between the corners. Then I bought a Cup Car and put it on slicks -suddenly Combe is extremely entertaining again. The challenge of Av...

"Fast although to be fast very technical"A great circuit very friendly -high speed with not much run off providing a challenging day

"a real drivers circuit"A very challenging circuit and unforgiving if you do not treat it with respect. Quarry is quite the best bend I've driven if you get it right. My TVR did not like it ion the wet!!

"Its going down hill...."I used to race here in the early 90s in the Alfa series. It was one of my favourites then - Old Paddock was one of the best corners in the country... Then they ruined it! The chicanes add nothing but are just blatently there to slow you. Onc...

"Not that fast now, but stiill a challenge" recommended reviewThis circuit has been reviewed a lot, so there's not a great deal to say. I like it for trackdays, as it tends to be cheap, is short enough to get to grips with quite quickly, has pretty good facilities compared to some of the smaller circuits, and is ch...

"Fast, but be careful. This circuit bites"Not as fast as before they introduced the 2 new chicanes, but still plenty of scope for a powerful car to get up to some high speeds. If you get your braking right at Avon Rise, Quarry is a lovely corner. If you get it wrong, you can end up wit...

"Fast fun with one really challenging corner"Quarry's the corner everyone talks about: unsighted at the top of a rise after a long 100mph+ near-straight, you arrive at a 180 degree right-hander, the car goes light over the rise just when you want max braking effort...

"It's all been said...."About the driving - fast and not too much of a challenge to get round - but improving testing times through Quarry, Tower and Camp is where the challenge lies. it's relatively easy to get round without incident, it's quite another prospect getting round ...

"A great circuit for testing - a bit featureless"Combe offers a great oportunity for testing and car setup, not too much in the way of a challenge , but plenty of overtaking room in a race.

"Scare yourself into Quarry" recommended reviewAs most have already said, it's a high speed circuit. Worth a visit to take on the challenge of Quarry corner. The climb up Avon Rise, braking into the blind left-right switch into Quarry takes a big hairy pair between your legs to do fast. Most bottle...

"Better in a Caterfield than a tin top"Having done this circuit in both an M3 E46 and a Caterham, I found it much more rewarding in the latter. Since the introduction of the two chicanes, the circuit (even though still quick) favours the lighter, more agile car (provided you have the more powe...

"Lost my 'bike trackday virginity here!"Great as a first track in cars or on bikes, not intimidating or scary and only quarry bend with its no run off is a bit dodgy. You will usually have to take your race exhaust off ya bike tho, I was lucky however just sqeaking under the 100Db limit with my...

"Fast and featureless"Gradually going off Combe but still end up going each year! Unfortunately you have to drive it vey fast and close to the limit to enjoy it unlike many other circuits. If you drive well within your limits it tends to get boring except Avon Rise and Q...
