Snetterton

2 mile circuit in Norfolk

Former US bomber base with a simple but fun circuit. The Revett straight is particularly long allowing faster cars to really stretch their legs.

"first track day in TVR great first outing."

Bombhole was great fun, easy to learn and very well organised.

Would go again without question.

It takes your breath away when you get it right! (It took my money away when i got it wrong!) Even just watching there is fab. I think its a shame JP is changing it!

....some corners surpisingly quicker than they look, when you get them right.

Bit bleak and windswept, but so is the whole of East Anglia!

"Short but sweet when You get it right"

not too technical but enough to keep me happy for several hours once I had been shown the way round by one of the On-Track instructors.

"Long trip but well worthwhile"

Although long this is quite an easy track to learn with a VERY long back straight and plenty of run off. The bombhole is probably my favourite part of the circuit and taken at the limit provides some good momentum to get past other drivers going into the ...

"great fun, very fast, but distant"

Fun and fast, with some long straights to allow the TVRs to really motor.

Remember, though, that Norwich is almost certainly further away that you think it is.

"Rally Heaven"

Only ever done rallies there - and best when they open up the market area as well.

"The only flat circuit that I love"

The section of the circuit from The Esses to Russell is quite tight and technical, and rewards a well driven light car. The rest of the circuit is fast and straight, and rewards a powerful car. Therefore, it has something for everyone.

I had my...

"Loads of runoff.."

Snetterton is a very quick circuit, with the Revett straight being one of the quickest in the country. Not a lot in the way of a challenge, although mapping each bend together in the bottom part of the circuit, can reward in some significant time saving. ...

"In a TVR you won't max-out down the Revett Straight!"
recommended review

Good slidey fun can be had through Riches and Sear, but take car round Coram as it goes on forever ans it's easy to apex too early, or overdo the throttle and run-off is minimal when you consider the speed involved.

It's also easy to catch slow s...

"Fast as ar$eholes"

Fabulously fast with some great long drifts if you get it right. Blast up Senna into Riches which can get a bit slippery. Keep it all together for another short blat into Sear using plenty of the concrete run-off to maximise the speed up Revetts. The Esse...

"Better for more powerful cars"
recommended review

The long straights at Snetterton mean its a better circuit for cars with more BHP than average, run off is good too.

For a quick lap (my personal view only);

Take Riches (turn 1) a lot faster than you''d think.

Take Sear (turn 2...
