| Track day only circuit built by Jonathan Palmer With no spectactor facilities and minimal armco, Bedford Autodrome's purpose built track day centre is a delight. Different courses can be set up with the 3.6 mile Gran Turismo being the longest. Featureless but immense fun.

"Bedford GT with 100 car OPL format - it doesnt get better than this" recommended reviewSafe enough find your limit without damage, long enough to get up speed between the good mix of corners. Love it !

"very long & flat, great for beginners and power cars !" recommended reviewnow this circuit is long, indeed very long ! esp if you run the full GT circuit.. close to 4 miles, which means even on a track of 100 cars it isn't that busy (but still can be now and again!). The 1st few laps has everyone on the track at a set speed whi...

"Something for everyone at bedford"So addictive I found myself going every month! Something for everyone; technical corners, very fast corners, scary fast straights! Absolutely the safest place on earth as far as track days are concerned

"Go there first time on track with a new car" recommended reviewVery safe - too safe maybe made me deliberately go into a corner too fast just to see what happened! (resulting 100 yard slide made Westie following say to me 'if only my camcorder hadn't run out of battery!'). Whenever I get a new car, THE place to go to...

"See just where the limits of your car are !" recommended reviewDid this circuit on a cold, wet Feb saturday - but really enjoyed it ! If its wet it really is good for throwing your car around and practising your car control - just make sure you arent too close to other cars coming out of the corners. Made that mistak...

"Safest Track in the UK" recommended reviewThis is the track to learn how to drive ! if you slide off there is nothing to hit and is the safest track I have been to. Brilliant wet track ! If you want to test your car and your skills without worrying about hitting anything then this...

"A chance to play......"......360's when you lose it not a problem here. The approach to the 'nasty' corner has been tightened into a challenging right left. But I don't like the 'slow' second gear corners..... Mel

"Very safe - very quiet"Great, fast, safe circuit - but don't even think of being too loud (driveby is a monster) - you'll get chucked off (like I was). If your car is quiet enough and you don't want hills... Bedford is an excellent flat blast.

"Possibly the safest circuit in the UK" recommended reviewOK, so it's as much of an airfield as a circuit and is pretty flat and featureless. However, it took me less time than expected to learn and the run offs are fantastic. A few tyre walls here and there, plus one nasty corner where damage could be done - bu...

"the perfect track" recommended reviewTrack days aren't about speed for me, it's how out of shape you can get your car and for this Beford is the best place in the UK, it's one long hooligan fairground ride where the fun never stops. If you only do one track day this year make it Bedford, you...

"dull flat airfield at track prices"Appalling organisation, only a couple sessions worth of track time during a whole day, and a dull flat track with too many long boring straights and no real challenging corners.

"A brilliantly safe place to experiment"Ok, it's flat, but the GT circuit has a lot of variety and some very well designed bends. Best of all, there is absolutely nothing to hit on almost all bends, so you can really find the limits of yourself and your car.

"A real blast" recommended reviewI drove the GT circuit in my Griffith 500. Brilliant fun, in an environment that encourages you to explore the limits. Where else can you play with the throttle on a 90mph bend to see if you can balance the car - safe in the knowledge that you will not ...

"Very hard to damage your car there" recommended reviewBedford Autodrome is rather flat and featureless, but it's ideal for beginners, as there is only 1 piece of trackside furniture that you can hit (althought it is at the end of a very fast part of the circuit). The large number of permutations a...

"Flat and featureless but immense fun" recommended reviewI can't fault this place. I've been fortunate enough to drive the GT circuit a few times and it's got enough of everything to keep me amused. Lengthy straights for fast cars and some lovely technical bits to enjoy in slower ones. Driven in: T...
