The infield circuit provides the action for non-oval types but has been criticised for not 'flowing'.

"Forget the banked oval, the infield's the best bit"For a circuit best known for its banked oval, the infield at Rockingham is a great surprise - nicely challenging and very rewarding when you get it right. Especially good for lower-powered cars, where the corners even things up a bit.

"If You Like That Sort of Thing.........".....too many twisty bits for me. Knackered the outside of my slicks -but that wall, with it's paint marks and tyre rubber swirls, is scarey!!!
Great modern facilities though -restuarant, pit garages etc.

The twisty infield is ok and has a few nice wide bends good for gooning where there is also plenty of run off.
