MAZDA RX-8 RX-8 231PS 2005

I've owned my RX8 since approximately 2015. Bought with the intention to become a dedicated track toy. It's a 2005 231 6 Speed in Strato Blue Metallic. It's served well in that role and has had the following modifications made to better enhance it;

• 350Z Rays Forged Wheels

• R888 tyres

• Sohn adaptor with separate 2 stroke reservoir to better lubricate the rotors

• GM LS Coil conversion kit (much better than the rubbish OEM ignition coils)

• OMP Deep dish Alcantara Steering wheel (Yellow Stitch)

• Momo Boss

• BG wheel extender

• Sparco Bucket Seats (many people only fit one but that leaves a passenger hanging on for dear life) with planted mounts.

• BC Coilovers (This transformed the ride)

• Alignment By Center Gravity in Atherstone

• Toyosports Decat Pipe

• Single exit Jap style exhaust (with silencer insert)

• EBC Yellowstuff pads

• Weighted brass shifter knob

To save weight;

• The interior has been stripped

• The Headlight Washers have been removed

• The sunroof mechanism has been removed and fixed shut

This was built as a track toy and as such has no MOT. It will need trailering

Having decided to move house I don’t have the space or inclination to take all of my projects with me, so now is the time to move it on.

It's not currently a runner as it decided to drop its oil all over my drive. I'm 90% confident this is due to one of the oil cooler lines perishing as I had previously replaced the other and the oil loss occurred whilst sitting .It will also need a new battery.

However, as a non-runner, I'm conscious its value lies primarily in the parts listed above.

I'm therefore happy to take a reasonable offer that benefits both parties.
