This exceptional 1992 Porsche 911 (964) Carrera RS, originally delivered to Porsche Centre Karlsruhe near Stuttgart, is an outstanding example of Porsche’s lightweight performance ethos. At that point, it was acquired by Mr. Bernhard Giede, an orthopedic and prosthetic specialist from Karlsruhe, Germany. Supporting documentation in the original service book shows Mr. Giede’s purchase coincided with its first service at 2,228 km. Upon purchase, Mr. Giede also obtained a Porsche Guarantee Certificate extending the warranty by a year at the time of purchase, a rarely seen and amazing little detail contained within the car’s extensive history file . During his ownership, Mr. Giede enjoyed the car extensively, adding 16,000 km in his first year alone, before parting with it in 2001 at 42,000 km.

The car then passed to Mr. Florian Weidner, who continued its enthusiastic use, with records showing regular servicing, including by Porsche Kiel in 2002. By 2003, the Carrera RS found its way to Sweden, where Rydbergs Motor AB congratulated the new owner in a letter on file. After two years in Sweden, the car was imported to the UK by Mr. Thomas Johansson in 2005. Shortly after its arrival, the car underwent an extensive £4,500 overhaul, including a gearbox rebuild, by renowned Porsche specialists JZM.

Ownership transitioned in 2006 to a UK resident who cherished the car for the next decade where, in 2017, the car moved with its new owner to the Netherlands, where it remained for six years, adding fewer than 1,000 km. It recently returned to the UK, where Porsche specialists Paragon undertook a comprehensive 12,000-mile service and a 74-point inspection, rectifying any issues before its sale to the current owner in 2022.

This Carrera RS embodies Porsche's purest driving experience. Delivered with no optional extras, its specification reflects the model's focus on weight reduction—deleting air conditioning, power seats, cruise control, entertainment systems, and sound insulation.
