Aston Martin V12 Zagato

Built to mark the fiftieth anniversary of one of Aston Martin’s most collectible, and nowadays valuable models, the DB4 GTZ..the V12 Zagato was designed by Marek Reichman at Aston’s Gaydon, UK facility; melding styling cues from the Vantage, with production excellence found in the “sold-out” One77, and was first presented to the public, at the 2011 Concorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este in Cernobbio Italy.

True to Aston Martin’s tradition; the V12 Zagato was race-proven, via circuit action, entering two chassis (“Zig” and "Zag”) at that year’s Nürburgring 24 hrs for GT cars, both of which survived the “green hell”, finishing eighty-ninth and one hundred and thirteenth respectively.

Initially intended as a limited production, of one hundred-and-fifty units for global markets; due to the prevalent economic uncertainty, a total of just sixty-one “production” chassis were delivered, with the addition of the aforementioned racers, and the pre-production prototype.

Available in only four colours; alluro green, scintilla silver, alba blue and diavolo red, the bespoke nature of the V12 Zagato, meant that almost any colour was subsequently available, with each chassis taking almost 2,000 hours to complete.

Eighteen right-hand-drive chassis are documented as having been produced, twelve intended for the UK market, the balance heading to the Asia-Pacific region.

#SCFEABGFXDGS3137 was delivered new in the UK, via Stratstone Derby, to its sole owner on 7/3/13, ordered in alluro green, complemented by a nero leather interior.
