2004 HONDA S2000 (Facelift) Fresh MOT

Reluctantly selling my Honda S2000 in Berlina Black as I sadly need a more practical car.

It’s a 2004 (54 plate) facelift car that has covered 126k miles, although the engine was replaced with a rebuilt lower mileage one a couple of years ago – I’ve lost the email trail from the previous owner confirming this so I am currently trying to get proof for this.

MOT has just been done today (06/04/2018) so has a full MOT.

All works as it should and it drives and handles fantastically.

Bodywork comes up really well with a polish but does unfortunately have some parking dings and a scrape/small crack on the rear bumper (you can see this on the back right in photos)

Wheels were refurbished to bright sparkle silver in my ownership and are pristine without a single kerb mark. This was an almost £500 refurbish by Pristine Wheels (very highly regarded) and not a cheap £40 a wheel job. Wheels have Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres fitted all around.

Interior is in good order, there is a little wear to the driver’s seat but no splits in the leather or split bolsters etc. I have retrofitted heated seats to both seats which are great with the roof down in the cooler weather.

I’ve owned the car since the beginning of last year and it is my third S2000. Mechanically the car drives superbly and uses barely any oil (all S2000’s use a little bit of oil, this one uses significantly less than my other 2 S2000’s did). I’ve done I think around 16,000 miles using the car daily and wouldn’t hesitate to continue to do so if it wasn’t for needing a more practical car.

It has full service history up until I bought the car and then I've serviced it myself with receipts for all parts purchased.

In my ownership the work I’ve had done includes;

New Lambda Sensors leading & trailing

New IACV Idle control valve

Brake Pads front and rear

Brake Discs front and rear

New Knock Sensor

New VTEC Oil pressure switch

3 x services (most recent was an oil change during the Easter weekend, always genuine Honda filters and Shell Helix Ultra oil)

Brand new Honda 4 piece mats (These are £150 genuine Honda mats and not some generic mats in the right shape)

It does have some basic modifications done to it but I can reverse these if the buyer would prefer;

Berk High Flow Cat – this was fitted as I suspected a blocked Cat at the time

Heated Seats fitted to both seats
