I sort of agree - if you've got the list of work required, why not walk around the car with it and show the viewer aswell - where possible. Just doesn't come across genuine even if he is.
That's his can't be **sed type attitude which I *sort of* like. My impression is that he has various income streams and Youtube isn't his primary one so he doesn't spend as long as others on the content planning and execution.

(btw, the watch he was wearing a few videos back looked like something out of Ben 10.)

The ben 10 watch was probably his senturian key, good bit of kit but not the best looking imo

Just looked up the prices - £15k to £150k nuts. I can imagine what my mates would say if I rocked up in the pub wearing one of them (I don't care how much they cost!).

It's the kind of company you'd expect Mr JWW to start.

I noticed that too biggrin the troubles of editing... video dropped on August 12, but Porsche bills say July... so probably wearing the Vincero for the merch plug (from £140+ according to Amazon) in the bit tacked onto the front rolleyes

How does that work then, clone your keyless entry fob into it somehow?

Sounds like a real nice excuse for an insurer should your Ferrari become someone else’s Ferrari unexpectedly.

I think that's the basics of it yeah. I quite like then idea, although it'd be nice if the wearable item was something more subtle / tasteful. Decent idea though.

eek

Looks like dirt, he took the diffuser off to fit the new Akrapovic exhaust, and a whole load of crap fell out, which shows what had been kicked up from the road... hopefully he will let us know in between refuels of the GT before heading to Monterey wink

I really like sidways sid's presenting style and vids.

Good on him to change his beloved GT4.

deserves more subscribers IMHO.
I'm of the same opinion - I'm sure he'll get those extra subscribers fairly quickly, once he sorts out his audio that is...

The comments have been banging on about it for months, if not over a year - How hard is it to buy a mic, seriously? hehe

I thought it was boring as fk, the guys trying to do a series on a classic Porsche and we havent got to see anything of it cos its just rambling in the drivers seat, then listing off a sheet of paper in his flat and trying to shill us off some watch brand... I get there is sure more to come but this video was pointless no?
Agreed.

Agreed.
Perhaps, but it's a video on a classic car, which interests me, rather than a video on a current gen supercar, which doesn't really interest me, so I'm inclined to encourage it.

It all comes down to credibility. I certainly won't waste my precious time on millennial tubers trying to sell me both the idea that they have any knowledge of classics or indeed, real interest in them over and above creating view-rich 'different' content or pushing some pointless timepiece for the sake of their sponsors. We all know the game... so "**** off", as Jeremy would eruditely state.

Would you really get enjoyment out of him showing you a missing gear linkage boot that is not there or a slight oil leak on the block?

He was quite honest about the fact that he has no mechanical knowledge so it would be far less genuine for him to go round the car trying to discuss mechanical issues.

I am not sure what else he could have really shown, I saw the whole exterior, most of the interior and based on the lists provided got a good idea about what needs to be done to sort it out.

No joke, the refuels are getting maddening! Frequently needing another gas station visit within 100 miles of driving...

However, on the topic at hand here, I did actually check and here are some pics below.

The PPF on those sections actually wraps completely underneath the panel, which means there is no way you'd even be able to see from the above perspective if it was lifting. So in the case of the section on the flying buttress it goes more than a centimeter back under, and the more forwards section still a few mm, which means what you're seeing there must be a reflection; perhaps of the sun through the trees.

Wow, that's some attention to detail! Topaz did such a good job, the car looks amazing! It's nice seeing the Ford GT in her natural habitat, lol and the exhaust makes all the difference. I haven't seen the car look dirty, so whoever spotted the reflection really has sharp eyes... I assumed it was sand or dirt from the road. I would be scared taking such a lovely car on a long road trip, but it's nice to see the GT is no Garage Queen. What's the size of the fuel tank? It's like the dash is always saying 40 or 50 miles to empty eek

Really enjoying the road trip, meeting up with Sam is good as well. Great content as always wink

Pretty sure he was wearing his Patek Aquanaut but agree on your point.
