Andrea Pininfarina, head of the Italian car design company, has been killed in a motorbike crash, sources close to the family have told news agency Reuters. The 51-year-old was chairman and chief executive officer of the company his family founded in 1930.
It is understood that his motorcycle collided with a car about 8:15 a.m. in Trofarello near the northern city of Turin, Italy. He was the grandson of the founder, Battista 'Pinin' Farina.
