Breaking News: Pininfarina CEO Killed


Andrea Pininfarina, head of the Italian car design company, has been killed in a motorbike crash, sources close to the family have told news agency Reuters. The 51-year-old was chairman and chief executive officer of the company his family founded in 1930.

It is understood that his motorcycle collided with a car about 8:15 a.m. in Trofarello near the northern city of Turin, Italy. He was the grandson of the founder, Battista 'Pinin' Farina.

    Bloody hell.

    This is why I'm sticking to cars no matter how much the congestion charge goes up.

    IMHO bikes just arent as safe, regardless of how good the rider is...
