Proton and Lotus are to sponsor Norwich City Football Club - The Canaries - for three years. The agreement starts with the 2003/4 season.
Proton Cars' logo will be carried on the Norwich City's Home Shirts and and the Lotus logo on the Away Shirts. Both Proton's and
Lotus' brands, logos and names will be used on the club's training kit and around the Carrow Road ground.
Brian Collier, Managing Director of Proton Cars UK commented: "We have recently relocated our headquarters to new offices alongside Lotus at Hethel in Norfolk and the sponsorship of Norwich City, in particularly the Home Shirt, will help Proton cement ties with the East Anglian community. "
Ansar Ali, UK General Manager of Lotus Cars Ltd, commented, "Working alongside an established organisation such as Norwich City Football Club provides the ideal opportunity for Lotus Cars to forge new relationships and work more closely with the local community.
"Lotus moved to its Hethel Headquarters 37 years ago and in that time we have gratefully received much support from the people here and I see this collaboration as a wonderful opportunity to give something back to Norfolk."
