Weybridge was the next stop on our jam-packed 2023 calendar for Sunday Service at Mercedes-Benz World. Capacity was maxed-out with 400 PHers descending on a stretch of the old Brooklands circuit for a morning of motoring madness.
Serving as the car equivalent of Disney Land, there really is something for everyone. Those looking for a thrill ride could ride shotgun with a pro driver on a hot lap in a C63 (the old V8, thank goodness), while those looking for something a bit more family-friendly could wander around the museum with all manner of cars from Stuttgart’s past and present – including some of the company’s championship-winning F1 machines.
The big draw, as always, was the fantastic mix of PH cars. We had everything from an old Porsche 911 RSR to a pristine N-reg Audi A4 1.8T, though I’m sure most of you will have clocked not one, not two but three Mercedes CLK63 AMG Black Series parked up (four if you count the one inside the museum). That’s nearly 20 per cent of the 25 cars allocated to the UK car market all in one place. You can join in the conversation and share your photos here.
Missed out on our trip to Mercedes-Benz World? Worry not. Our next Sunday Service is just around the corner and it’s set to be a belter. We’re heading to Cheltenham to Prescott Hill Climb for its Car Club Day on 2nd April, where you’ll be able to see all sorts of cars hit the tricky 1,127-yard sprint. Time on the hill has sold out, but there are plenty of spaces open for spectators. You can buy early bird admission tickets here for £12, or it’s £15 on the day. Once you’ve got a ticket, make sure you add your name to the PH list here. See you on the hill!
