It’s an exciting project, the Tamiya Wild One MAX, the kind of which we haven’t really seen from The Little Car Company. Or from anywhere, really - reimagining a radio-controlled icon in full, adult-sized format with electric power is a pretty novel idea. Inevitably it piqued the interest of PH, because it looks great and ought to be enormous fun to drive. Which we’ll do absolutely as soon as possible, of course.
Now, this wouldn’t be PH without a serious interrogation of the facts before that point. The forum thread of pretty much any automotive announcement is testament to that, and the Tamiya reveal was no different. Where things do deviate from the norm, however, is that the boss of TLCC, CEO Ben Hedley, is a keen PHer himself and knows the audience boasts the sort of enthusiasm (and boundless curiosity with it) not really seen elsewhere. So he’s going to take on any and all questions you might have about the creation of the Wild One Max, an Ask Me Anything for the man who knows everything about The Little Car Company. And making an R/C car into the real thing.
All that’s required is to post any relevant questions you might have in the forum thread below. These will then be put to Ben next week, the answers transcribed and a follow-up feature published before the end of the month that’ll provide all the info you need. Simple as that. The TLCC team will be at PH25, too, so feel free to pop along then with any burning queries. They’re looking forward to hearing from you!
