If you're regularly scouring the classifieds for the same car or have specific search criteria, then a saved search will help save time. You can save your personal specifications on your profile and at the click of a button perform that search without having to fill out the search form again.
You'll need to start a new search first. Make use of all the different search options that are on offer, but try to keep it quite broad. Some sellers may not use a specific keyword you're expecting, so you might miss a car that's perfect for you.
Once you're on the results page, you'll see a 'Save' button and a 'Notify me' button. Click 'Save' and that's it, as simple as that! Clicking the 'Notify me' button will send you an email every time a new car is added that meets your search criteria.
How do I find my saved searches?
On desktop, you can hover over the 'Buy' or 'Sell' tabs on the main menu, and click 'My Saved Searches'. On mobile, tap the person icon in the top right corner to access your profile. Click on 'My Stuff' and then 'My Searches'.
You can create as many saved searches as you like, so don't hold back!
Do I receive email notifications when a new car is listed?
Once a saved search has been created, there is an option to receive notifications by email by clicking on the 'Notify me' button. If you don't do this, there's a tick box on your main saved searches page that'll enable notifications. To stop receiving notifications, just untick this box.
How do I delete a saved search?
On your main saved searches page, you can click 'remove this search'. This will delete the saved search and you'll stop receiving notifications if these were turned on.
