Lamborghini had plenty to celebrate at the weekend, not least the first staging of its new two-day extravaganza, Lamborghini Arena. A somewhat odd name for an event not actually staged in an arena (it happened at Imola Circuit, which, to be fair, is cooler than say, Bolton Arena) but the list of things going on was not odd; indeed, it was a jam-packed programme by all accounts, that included everything from museum exhibits to garage tours. Plus cars: lots of them. As many as 352 on the track for a special parade on Sunday, not to mention a whole host of Huracán Super Trofeos and even the Essenza SCV12 hypercars.
“Lamborghini Arena is a celebration of the love and passion that people have for our brand. We are really proud to have staged such a unique event, which comes at a very special time for our company, following last year’s 60th-anniversary celebrations and in the 2024 year that coincides with the hybridization of the whole range,” said CEO, Stephan Winkelmann. “We want to share moments that are so important to us with our fans, and the aim is to bring together the whole Lamborghini community in one place at an event that is truly open to everyone, from clients and enthusiasts to employees. These two days were entirely dedicated to Lamborghini style, something we are very proud of.”
PH is no stranger to organising events for thousands of people (we may have mentioned this) so we know how much effort goes into making them hum along. Of course, it doesn’t hurt to go all jazz hands in a way that only a car manufacturer can pull off: cue the special one-off Revuelto created to mark the occasion. A product of the Ad Personam customisation service, the car looks relatively understated in Grigio Hati grey with Verde Scandal green details - but Lamborghini reckons that's all the better for highlighting the roof, rear spoiler, air intakes, sill inserts and other details, which are in high-gloss carbon fibre.
Factor in the split 21- and 22-inch alloys, and we’re inclined to think it looks pretty good. Although we’re yet to see a 1,015hp Revuelto that doesn’t look the business. Naturally, it gets a special interior, too, and while this mostly mirrors the stealth-themed exterior, it does get an embroidered bulkhead panel lining depicting a map of the Imola Circuit, with the track in Bianco Leda white, and the gravel traps in Verde Scandal green. Which is a nice touch.
