For those few who have experienced it, the
Infiniti Q60
G37
as it was previously known) has proved quietly impressive. Capable handling, a nice interior and the fact it isn't one of the usual suspects has enamoured it to a few. Then you check
HowManyLeft
and there are 185 G37s of all types registered in the UK.
Replacing this, in case you'd forgotten
Anyway, Infiniti is to replace the Q60 with a new model at the Detroit show next month. At present there really is the bare minimum of information available. Along with this rather indistinct image with Infiniti has added that 'muscular lines are revealed in the silhouette'.
It looks sleek enough but there's really not a lot you can tell from this, is there? Then we're into the discussion of how far concepts look like production cars... For what it's worth, Infiniti says "wheels placed out at the corners of Q60 Concept make an unmistakable design statement and add to the exhilaration of the performance coupe." Cynicism aside for a second, the recently launched Q80 Inspiration was a bit of a looker so we remain hopeful.
Infiniti will show the Q60 Concept in full at Detroit but expect one or two 'teasers' before then to frustrate a little further. And what's happened to that Q50 Eau Rouge?
