We were promised big things from Connaught when it reappeared in 2002 but since then it has slipped under the radar. Not only was there talk of an in-house V-10 for the compact coupe but a hybrid car was also on the cards.
The last we heard Connaught was moving to a new facility in South Wales were a limited run of 100 cars was due to commence. Is that where the story ends? Perhaps not, if these pictures are anything to go by.
PH reader Jack Pearson spotted this car parked by the side of the street, which could mean Connaught are still testing the unusual-looking two-door. The badges say ‘V10 Supercharged’ and there are AP Racing brakes all round. According to Jack the car was fitted with what looks like a sequential gearbox.
