Hyundai will pitch its latest car into the sportscar segment at Frankfurt.
After two years development costing almost $200 million, the Tuscani will go on
sale shortly afterwards in Europe and the US.
Hyundai seem to be treading a fine line with the naming of the car with one
trim level named the Elisa. The Tuscani Elisa!? Have we been had?
The Elisa will be powered by a 175bhp 2.7 litre engine whilst the lower GT
and GTS models will make do with 2 litre, 138 bhp units. Both engines are
Hyundai units. A six speed transmission will be available too.
Luxuries will include air-con, airbags, speed dependent windscreen wipers and
a hands free phone system.
